In 2003 Keikkeik made a series of objects and installations, that refer to the vanishing old landscapes. Only international (American) uniformity remains. Even people are reduced to numbers and codes.

The Personal Landscapes are new, transfigured spaces, places of shelter, that seem to be immune to these influences. In some of these 'landscapes' however sketchmaps of streets, fit for building, show up a little. In its neighbourhood futuristic 'power plants' are ready for 'developing' the area. The large 'Landscapes'-installations emphatically refer to helpless anger. No options or places of shelter are left here. Maladjusted persons or non-conformists are not tolerated here.

The Personal Landscapes-objects and installations have very different dimensions and are made of lots of materials; canvas, steel, glass and fibre. The large installation of terracotta-pots, filled with this ruthless asphalt, and the other works indicate that our future will consist of compulsary monotony in a total artificial world.

The Portabe Personal Landscape, the smallest version, consists of a transparant envelope. In it you find a badge, little scissors, three twodimensional impressions of a landscape on paper. Four supplements - symbols of preferance and rejection - are included. These signs can get a place in the landscapes.
